Several students shared some of the good things and bad things about the snow. This includes struggles they have with the snow and reasons why they love the snow.

One of the best things about the snow is all of the things you can do in the snow.

“I love the snow because then I get to ski. I love to ski,” senior McKenzie Hintze, said.

Farmington is very close to the mountains and there are several good places to ski. The most common place for Farmington students to ski is Snow Basin. It is a great place with great snow. However, it is very expensive and fairly packed.

Even if you don’t ski, there are plenty of other things to do in the snow, like sledding or even ice skating. It can be hard to find a good hill to sled on, but even the small ones can still be fun.

“I don’t like the snow because I hate to drive in it, but it’s perfect for ice skating,” senior, Savanna Winterton, said.

She doesn’t love the snow but still finds things to make it better.

However, the snow can make everyday tasks harder.

“I hate the snow because… my car goes ice skating on the way to school, ” senior, Lucy Seamons, said.

Driving in the snow can be very dangerous for students who have to drive early in the morning. Their cars might slide, or they might not be able to see as well.

Another bad thing about the snow is that it is cold, and nobody likes the cold.

All of these examples give you a good picture of how the snow affects students.
