Students At Farmington High Enjoy MAPS Class
September 25, 2019
Maps is a fifty-minute class period for students at Farmington high. They are able to work on any homework they might have or take content assessments. It can be really useful if they use it properly and actually get work done.
For some students, maps can seem completely useless if they can get their work done in classes or at home. Fifty-minutes could be a really long time for them to just sit there and not disturb working students. They could end up distracting their peers.
Most teachers are pretty chill with students using the period how they want to. This causes some classrooms to get rowdy. It can cause other students to not want to do their work either.
Senior Kaylyn Heaton thinks that the teachers mostly keep the students under control. She gets homework done in her maps class and doesn’t really get distracted by students who aren’t working.
“I think no matter how hard teachers try to make it useful you’ll always have those students who don’t do any work” Kaylyn said.
So, Kaylyn find maps to be very useful and doesn’t mind the students who don’t work.
Lots of students use maps to do content assessments which normally can’t be done in class. If students have work to do then it tends to be a better working environment. Plus, students can always go out into the learning suit to get their work done.
Sophomore Lydia Snow thinks that she could do without maps.
“It’s kind of nice to have it though” Lydia said.
She is also able to get her work done in maps and likes having a period to be able to get stuff done.
Students at Farmington high do enjoy maps. It helps them to get homework done. Their might be students who will distract other people but maps will still be very helpful to the students at Farmington high.
