Farmington Station Has a Variety of Lunch Options

Cali Layton, Staff Writer

Here at Farmington we are lucky to be close to lots of restaurants and fun lunch spots that are available to students. With Station Park being so close by, there are tons of fast and delicious lunch options that won’t break the bank.

There are 30 different options for food in the Station Park area. Some have the convenience of a drive-thru, but others have storefronts with quick service.

If you are in a time crunch because you were stuck in the parking lot forever, and a drive-thru is essential to getting you back to class on time, there are some speedy options available close by. McDonalds is always quick, just drive across the street from Cabela’s and you’re good to go. Chick-fil-a is also a fast option, and it’s just off of the main round-about in Station Park. Wendy’s offers great deals like four for fours and mini frosties, just jet across the intersection into the Cabela’s parking lot and right into the drive through line.

If you’re lucky and have a little extra time to spare, there are lots of delicious places to get some lunch, and be back to the school in plenty of time. Some popular ones that tend to be a little busier during the lunch rush are Panda Express, Zupas, Subway, Costa Vida, and Roxberry. All of these storefronts are right next to each other in a little section of the Station Park parking lot right off of the main round-about.

One of the cheapest and most popular options for lunch is Harmons Grocery.  They have a  big deli with lots of lunch specials. They have plates of chicken strips and bowls of soup along with slices of pizza, all for reasonable prices. They also have a bunch of seating options upstairs so you can buy your lunch, then have a place there to eat it too.

“The fastest place that I have been to is Panda Express,” junior, Mercedes Whiting said.

“I usually like to go into the stores,” senior, Shayla Adams said.

So the next time you are looking to go off campus for lunch, whether you are in a hurry, or you’ve got time, there’s a place for you just around the corner.
