Cristiano Ronaldo “The Goat” is one of the greatest strikers to be in the premier league. In his youth he started at the local club called Andorinha and played until he got diagnosed with a heart condition at the age of 15 but he did not get sidelined for to long he made a full recovery and then went on to play for the National Club of Madeira and then got transferred to Sporting Lisbon.

 Ronaldo got recognized as a forward and went on to play for Manchester united in 2003 where he won the Champions League title in 2008 and the Golden Shoe award because he scored 42 league and cup goals in the 2007-2008 season. Ronaldo got transferred to Real Madrid In 2009 for 94 million euros and then went on to play for real Madrid from 2009-2018 getting another ballon d’or getting the la liga championship. In 2018 Ronaldo got a four year contract Juventus for 124 million Euros , playing from 2018-2021 winning the super Copa and then transferred back to Manchester United where he was not satisfied with the playing style and teammates he then left Man United and signed with the Saudi Arabian team Al Nassar.

“Ronaldo Is a great person and player but to me he is a bit overrated,” junior Carson Terry, says.

“ Ronaldo is a great player but after the transfer to Man United he hasn’t done so good from then,” senior Boston Petersen, says. 

Ronaldo’s international career started in 2003 where he was a key player in the 2006 world cup where Portugal finished fourth he went on to play in the 2010, 2014. In 2016 Ronaldo helped Portugal win the 2016 European championship which was the first major title that Portugal has had Ronaldo only played in the final because he had a knee injury. He then played in the 2018 world cup where he scored four goals in four games only to be knocked out by defensive Uruguay. Then in 2022 he was not in the starting lineup and ended up losing in the quarterfinals.
