If you are on any sort of social media platform, especially TikTok, you have likely heard about the recent drama between Selena Gomez and Hailey Bieber. And if you haven’t you will now.  

Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber dated on and off between 2010 and 2018. Their relationship quickly became the envy of many fans including Hailey Bieber, at the time Hailey Baldwin, who was a super stan of Justin and often made appearances wherever the famous couple was spotted. After Selena’s and Justin’s final breakup in 2018, Hailey got married to Justin the same year, just six months after him and Selena’s split.  

The drama between the two started to pick up around February 22, when Gomez posted a TikTok about how she accidentally over-laminated her eyebrows. Hours later, Hailey posted pictures to her Instagram of her and Kylie Jenner on facetime with their eyebrows close up to the camera. Which fans assumed was a dig at Selena. Jenner later commented on a TikTok, defending Bieber, saying that the speculations were a reach at best.  

The same day Gomez denied rumors that her and Hailey were feuding. Saying that all the rumors were “unnecessary”.  However, she later wrote “I love you” in response to a comment from a fan who criticized “mean girls and nepo babies” for attacking Gomez. Leading fans to speculate that there actually is drama between the two.  

“First off… who the fetch was Hailey Baldwin before she married Justin? Second, I personally think Hailey Bieber has always been jealous of Selena Gomez and is a “mean girl” and a psychopath. Selena Gomez has always been genuine and is truly a sweet and humble person”, senior, Megan Wood, said.  

Although Hailey has also denied a feud between the two, fan speculation has brought up more dirt from the past on Hailey, showing that she has been bullying Selena for a while. From videos, and speculating that Hailey likes to copy Selena, fans just can’t seem to get enough of the drama.  

In one video that has recently resurfaced, Hailey makes a comment about Selena’s struggle with Lupus which has resulted in her recent weight gain. In the video she states, “I’m not saying she deserved it, but I’m saying God’s timing is always right.” 

Most recently, rumors have started spreading speculating Justin and Hailey Bieber’s possible divorce.  

Since the drama started Gomez has gained 15 million followers on Instagram. Kylie Jenner and Hailey Bieber meanwhile have each lost hundreds of thousands of followers over the last two weeks.
