The Golden State Warriors have been one of the most dominant teams in the NBA playoffs this season, as they continue to showcase their championship wants and fight for another title. Led by Steph Curry, the Warriors have been a force to be reckoned with taking on some of the league’s toughest opponents.

In the first round of the playoffs, the Warriors faced off against the Los Angeles Lakers, who were looking to defend their NBA championship from the previous season, with Curry leading the way with his trademark shooting prowess and leadership on the court.

Moving on to the second round, the Warriors faced the Utah Jazz, who had the best record in the NBA during the regular season. Once again, the Warriors proved to be a good opponent, using their aggressive defense and  shooting to overcome the Jazz in a hard-fought six-game series.

Warriors head coach Steve Kerr said “It’s been an amazing year of individual performances.”

Now, as the Warriors prepare for the Western Conference Finals, they find themselves facing off against the Phoenix Suns, who finished with the second-best record in the West during the regular season. This series is sure to be a battle, as both teams have proven themselves to be among the best in the NBA this season.

As the Warriors continue their playoff journey, fans around the world are waiting for  each game, excited to see what this talented team will do next. With their combination of talent, experience, and determination, the Warriors are proving once again why they are one of the best teams in the NBA playoffs.

We asked students here at FHS what they think. We first asked Emerson Cahoon about his thoughts on The Golden State Warriors.

“There is no chance that they do not win. They have way too much skill and talent,” student, Emerson Cahoon, said.

Skill and talent can go really far in the playoffs but it all comes down to who wants it more in the end.
