Students at FHS tell us what they think is too early to be asked to a dance.

There are many different times at which students decide they should ask someone to one of the many dances at Farmington high. First I asked students at FHS how early they have been asked to dance. Many of the answers were similar. Telling us that they had been asked months in advance. Then they were asked how early they thought it was too early to be asked.

“If someone asks right after the dance” Junior, Addi Kelly, said.

One of them had said that 3 months was too early to be asked and expanded on why the time he said was too early to be asked to the dance. He had said that 3 months ahead was way too early to be asked to the dance. Telling us that 3 months is a very long time ahead of a dance to be asked.

“A lot can happen in three months,” Junior, Logan Chase, said.

Now that they had given their opinions on what time was too early to be asked to the dance. They were asked what they thought was the best time to ask someone to the dance. They all had different opinions on what was the right time. 

“When everyone starts asking,” Junior, Addi Kelly, said.

There are many different times that you can decide to ask someone on a dance. Although many have opinions on what is too early for them it comes down to what works best for you and the person you’re asking.
