Ladies and gentlemen of all ages at the time of this being written there 24 days and 12 hours until this term is OVER! Are you prepared?
Depending on your personal workload stress levels vary as the end of the term approaches but how can you ensure your confidence in your grades as the end of this term approaches? Senior Roxy Davis gave us the very insightful quote, “I do my schoolwork throughout the term, so I’m not stressed at the end (of the term).”. While this may work for some people it is more difficult for others to focus throughout the term. This leads to high levels of procrastination which often translates into high levels of stress at the end of the term.
If you are one of those people here are some suggestions for you; Take advantage of the after-school hours and opportunities. The content assessment lab is open almost every day until 4 pm with a teacher referral. You can go in and retake tests or finish work of all kinds. Another popular form of organization is creating a to-do list. This doesn’t just have to be a piece of paper or entry in your note’s app, there are countless popular apps and websites that can be installed on your devices that send you reminders, prioritize certain assignments, and organize by date such as ‘Lists To Do’ and ‘ToDoist’.
And now for the scary part, when was the last time you checked your attendance? Citizenship is known as the client killer all over the world. It is essential to check for those U’s that might be closing in on you and see what you can do to correct them and keep them as far from your permanent transcript as possible!
The end of term creeps closer by the minute, I hope you survive.
