This week the senior assassin started, and all the seniors are on their toes!! Never-ending stalking, with friends asking friends about their target trying to get every detail to win! Everybody’s locations are off and the game has begun! All the 170 seniors that signed up are doing whatever it takes to win the grand prize of $1700!
Students stalked for hours, on the first day of the game. Senior, Kaden Dupaix said, “I’ve spent a good 30 minutes stalking my target today trying to find where he lives and works.” Whereas senior, Boston Palmer says “I’ve spent probably an hour and a half total asking people questions about my target Marcus Miles.” Seniors here at Farmington High are taking this game very seriously.
There are many techniques on how to assassinate your target, here are a few students’ ideas. Boston Palmer’s idea was to have another student invite his target to play pickleball where Boston would then go shoot him. Senior, Charley Van Zweden stated “I’m going to get inside a huge box and pretend it is a package delivery, then I’ll have my dad have a paper to sign and then I’d jump up and shoot him when he is at the door.” Students are getting very creative with their techniques.
Several seniors have had to switch up their normal routines so that they would not get shot. Seniors, Boston Palmer, Bridget Maxwell, and Charley Van Zweden say they all had to start parking in their garages so they would be safe. Students are now only going to drive-thrus during lunch and keeping their windows rolled up. The players are constantly watching their backs.
This is only the first week of the Senior Assassin game and there are only 6 players eliminated so far. The assassination methods are getting better and better. Nobody knows who’s going to win or when they are going to get assassinated. Stay strapped and watch your back.
