Shrek 2 is the second part to the original Shrek movie, and it is way better than the first one. Its filled with original and new funny characters and action that makes it great to watch for both children and adults. The movie begins with Shrek who is and ogre and Fiona who is half ogre half human, now happily married, going to meet Fiona’s parents who are the king and queen of the town. Things get awkward really fast because Fiona’s parents do not know she is married to an ogre. They were expecting her to marry prince charming.

One of the best things I’d say about Shrek 2 is its comedy. The movie makes fun of fairy tales and recreates the characters in the fairy tales and has a lot of jokes that are funny even if you are a grown adult. For example, there’s a funny scene where Shrek and donkey drink a magic potion that turns Shrek into a human and donkey into a white stallion, and they go around town having fun and getting in trouble.

Another great thing about it is the new characters they introduce in the movie. The first one is Puss in Boots, a sword fighting cat is one of the coolest characters in the movie. There is also the Fairy Godmother who is not as nice as she seems, and her son Prince Charming, who tries to break up Shrek and Fiona. 

The animation in Shrek 2 is really good and the music track is amazing. The movie features catchy songs like “Accidentally in Love” and “Holding Out for a Hero” that make the action scenes even more fun.

In conclusion, Shrek 2 is a great movie. It’s funny and has a great story and the characters are a lot of fun. If you liked the first Shrek you’ll definitely enjoy the sequel. It’s a movie that can make you laugh and feel good at the same time.
