Thanksgiving is a wonderful holiday celebrated using many different traditions! With it being the upcoming holiday many families are excited, whether that’s because they get a break from work or because they get some quality time with their family and friends. Some people really enjoy the feast that is provided, watching movies that come out, or even just playing some fun Thanksgiving games.

Thanksgiving is almost here and some movies are getting people excited. The movie “Moana 2” is coming out the day right before Thanksgiving (Nov. 27) and watching a movie during Thanksgiving is a typical tradition for many families, especially after the big feast so people can look forward to spending time together. Some people would even say that going to the movies is part of their routine.

One of Thanksgiving’s most famous traditions is having a big, delicious feast. This feast can be with family or friends, hence the name “Friendsgiving” but we all have different opinions, so we have our own favorite and least favorite dish.

“Everyone makes a big deal about turkey but if it’s not done right, it can become really dry” stated by sophomore Annette Cox

Not only do people celebrate Thanksgiving but many others celebrate Black Friday. For the past few years, Black Friday has always had great sales but lately those sales have been going down recently and Cyber Monday has gotten more popular.

“I think it’s nice to get deals, but people get injured, so it’s not the safest thing” stated by sophomore Annette Cox

Overall, Thanksgiving is a wonderful holiday that can be celebrated however you see fit. Some enjoy the traditional feast, some love going shopping whether that’s online or in person.
