The green bay packers are super bowl contenders. While this may seem like a hot take to an untrained eye, as a professional green bay packers fan I can tell you that its true. The teams combination of a skilled defense despite having a secondary and a run and gun offense has proved to be a deadly combo resulting in a 10 and 4 record with four weeks to go. There are many reasons that this team is In a winning position but the two main reasons that I want to discuss are Jordan Love at the quarterback position and Matt LaFleur as head coach.

The first reason that I believe that the packers are a Super Bowl contender is Jordan Love. Coming out of Utah state Jordan was slept on but nowadays in green bay he is an absolute cold killer. While yes he started off the year with 11 interceptions in 10 games he has absolutely turned his season around holding the most touchdown throws in the league and not throwing an interception the last four games played. Love is much more than just numbers too, watching him is like watching a Brett Favre and Aaron Rodgers mashup, which is utterly bliss for any packers fan.

The second reason that the packers are contenders this year is matt LaFleur at head coach. Matt has been the perfect fit for the packers this year. Firing guys up when they need it and calling plays like john madden resurrected. He has relied on the packers new asset josh Jacobs while still absolutely leaving the rains to Jordan love. Calling plays perfectly for the team.

As a packers fan, I can not wait for the postseason this year. I’m ready to see my team match up against anyone and feal good about it. I rate the green bay packers a B+.
