The Lego Batman movie is a movie for all. It is directed by Chris Mckay and produced by Phil Lord. No matter your age, gender, or any opinion you have, you will thoroughly enjoy this movie.
Lego Batman, starring Will Arnet and Micheal Cera, is definitely considered to be one of the funniest movies of all time. When you and your friends are trying to figure out what to watch, and you can’t decide, I guarantee you will always go back to Lego Batman.
This movie is filled with clever jokes, and little things that put the comedy over the top. It is considered to be a family movie, but it is really for everyone.
Will Arnet (Batman) did an amazing job at voice acting this role. He is able to make anything he says extremely hilarious. He says everything the same, the same tone, pitch, everything, and that is what makes it so unique and hilarious. He doesn’t rely on the tone of the voice to bring comedy.
Micheal Cera (Robin) was the perfect choice for this role. He always sounds cheerful and somewhat wimpy throughout the whole movie which fits the character perfectly. His character seems to be the exact opposite of Batman, and the difference between them makes their interactions that much funnier.
The storyline of this movie follows Batman, the savior of Gotham City, feeling lonely but being too stubborn to do anything about it, as he has made it his whole personality to be a loner who is dark and mysterious. He then meets an orphan who eventually becomes Robin, and he encourages Batman to make every kind of relationship.
The sappiness of this movie adds a huge level of comedy, as it does not take itself seriously in the slightest.
I will always turn this movie on when I am in need of a laugh, or when I can’t think of another movie to turn on with my friends. Therefore, I give this movie a 10/10 on the Lilly scale.
