The holiday season is here! Out of many of the traditions for this time of year. There are many people that like to set the mood by watching a fun Christmas movie. There is a Christmas movie out there that everyone can watch and enjoy. This is because there are so many kinds of holiday movies. There are feel good cheery movies and hilarious comedies. If you can’t make a decision on what Christmas movie to watch. I am here to help you. Here is a run down and some of my personal favorites on some of the movies that you must watch.

The first movie is the original “Elf”. Elf is a funny and family friendly movie. It’s about the main character named Buddy who has lived in the north pole with elves since he was a toddler. Buddy can’t help but feel like he doesn’t fit in with the elves, so he travels to New York to search for his real dad. When he finds his real dad and is now in the “real world”, life is not how he expects and he goes through chaotic adventures to show people what Christmas spirit really is. It has a great message that you can be yourself no matter what people say. This is definitely a classic and a must watch Christmas movie. 

The next movie and my personal favorite is “Home alone”. Home alone is about a 8 year old boy named Kevin. Kevin’s family decides they want to go on a vacation for Christmas. Kevin gets in trouble with his mom and his family accidentally leaves him home from the vacation. Not only does Kevin have to stay home alone but there are two scary people trying to rob his house. He has to do everything he can to stay safe while he’s home alone, even if he has to get very creative. This movie is amusing and something that the entire family can laugh at and enjoy.

There are many good Christmas movies, however, in my opinion these two movies are the best ones. If you haven’t seen them or even if you have, they are definitely a must watch this holiday season.
