The live action snow white has been sparking the internet with tons of controversy. From issues with the leading actress, to issues with Disney remaking old movies only to ruin them. This is one of the many live action remakes Disney has made in the past decade. Leaving fans disappointed and annoyed with the lack of new stories.

Snow white is one of the original Disney movies and one of the first animations they released. Many fans have been left with pure disappointment with this adaptation, feeling as if Disney has been switching the storyline to fit current day standards and ruining the actual story. The movie has stuck a lot to the current storyline but added new things, such as songs and new additions that weren’t there before. There is also a lot of issues with leading actress of Snow White, Rachel Zegler. Many people didn’t like her stance on the story, claiming she didn’t really like the story of snow white and disagreed with it. This left a lot of people pressed considering she took on the role of someone she didn’t like.

Personally, I did not enjoy the movie. I felt as if it was underdone, and the songs were poorly done. The evil queen songs really threw me off and weren’t very catchy and entertaining. It seemed as if someone who had barely any experience writing wrote them. They felt very uncreative and lacked character.

On the contrary, unlike many people, I don’t really mind Rachel Zegler. I think she is just an outspoken individual who says her feelings often. I don’t really have any problems with her as a person I just didn’t like what Disney had done with the movie.

This new movie adaptation was really a let down and lacked many features it needed. Disney should really take a step back from the remakes and start making new original stories.
