Season 29 of The Bachelor has come to an end. Throughout the season, viewers watched the new episodes that came out weekly until the final episode aired on March 24th, 2025, watching girls go home until three, then two, remained. In the end, it was Juliana Pasquarosa that walked away with Grant.
In my previous article, I predicted who I thought would receive Grant’s final rose at the end of the season. Personally, I was not very surprised to see Litia as one of the final girls, I predicted that she would be the one to win the season. I was surprised, however, that Zoe and Juliana made it as far as they did, though I did begin to see the connection Grant had established with Juliana as the season was nearing an end.
After overnights, I expected Zoe to be the one to go home, and she did, which left only Juliana and Litia. It was hard during these final episodes to know which girl the bachelor would choose as I began to see stronger connections grow between Grant and both girls, though I was leaning more towards Litia, especially after Grant’s mother seemed to favor her and she was the first Grant said, “I love you,” to. I think it is important to acknowledge though that there were areas that they didn’t match up, such as religion and the timeline in which Litia wanted to have kids.
Although I hoped and thought Litia would win the season, I must acknowledge Grant and Juliana’s relationship. During the show, they did have a lot of good conversations and little moments that strengthened their bond. They also had a wonderful one-on-one where they were both able to open up to one another on a deeper emotional level, talking about troubles in their childhood and pain from past relationships. Their relationship seemed to be strengthened in the final few episodes as well, especially after Juliana told Grant that she loved him too. It seems as though their ability to relate to one another on past experiences, talk about hard things, and also have a fun time together, seemed to contribute to Grant’s final choice to propose to Juliana.
Even though I feel sad for Litia, I am happy for Grant and Juliana.
