With summer only around two months away, it has lots of us thinking about our summer wardrobe. Last summer, had very memorable fashion trends. Things such as, sambas for shoes, free people tank tops, and the recurrence of jean shorts, also known as jorts. A lot of these trends have stuck but we are also seeing a big number of new trends coming in.
My personal predictions for the biggest trends this summer would be lots of nineties and patterned clothing. Close to the trends of last year, but more patterns and I think linen pants would be fun to see. More specifically, I think it would be very fun to see lots of thrifting aesthetic and lower waisted shorts and jeans. I also think that butter yellow, and cheetah/leopard prints will be seen all throughout clothing in the summer. Along with accessories like the chunky bags and sunglasses.
“Lots of pastels and denim skirts.” sophomore Ava Winslow, said.
Ava sees more of the idea of lighter colors and lots of denim clothes. Denim skirts have become more common as seen in recent outfits all around. And Ava thinks it’s going to be a popular trend throughout the summer. As we already see a lot of girls wearing denim skirts, specifically the shorter ones around school and in public.
She also sees pastels coming in and being common in a lot of summer tops. Throughout stores we already see a common pattern of pastel colors in most tops. And Ava predicts it’s going to be a big part in the color scheme of this year’s trends.
Both of us have some similar predictions for the summer, as both of us predict some sort of pastel color. Overall, I think many of these ideas and predictions are already starting to happen or have happened and will be a lot of the wardrobe staples this summer
