Most people know that once you take a class in high school or middle school, you cannot take that class again. You probably could apply for the same classes, but the counselor will sign you up for different classes anyway, so there’s really no point. You also probably shouldn’t be signing up for the same classes in the first place. This year’s classes are ending and that means we must move on to new classes. Of course, unless you’re a senior, but even then, if you’re going to college, you’ll have to pick your major(s) and which classes you wish to take.

Picking out new classes sounds easy but every student in Davis County must earn a certain number of credits to graduate. The concept can come simple to others but for some students they must take some classes online to make room for the classes they want to take. FHS offers lots of fun courses this year and with all the various options, it can be difficult to pick one class over the other. But we all have favorites and can’t wait to take one class we’ll love the most.
“I’m looking forward to Botany the most, cause I like plants” -sophomore Millie Kamerath, said.
As said before, there are credits that must be earned to graduate which can also prevent students from taking the classes they want. This can get annoying, especially when there are some classes that you can only take after taking the prerequisite courses. Because of this, there might be a class that we won’t be looking forward to.
What class are you not looking forward to next year?

As dreading as it may seem, school will come back and haunt students. However, wherever there are downsides, there will always be benefits. There’s no denying that school can be stressful, but it will always be a place where students can grow. Once you grasp these opportunities and learn from them, life can get much easier.
