The Thanksgiving holiday is almost here and many students’ mouths are beginning to water as they think about all the food they’ll soon enjoy. Everyone knows that food is the first thing you think of when you think about Thanksgiving, but what specific foods are most connected to thoughts of Thanksgiving? What food is a common favorite amongst the Farmington High students?

Some of the most well-known Thanksgiving foods are: turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, rolls and pie. Every family has different foods, but these are the most basic foods on most menus for Thanksgiving.

There are so many different things to eat on Thanksgiving that it can be hard to pick just one favorite. But many students have one food that immediately comes to mind when they think about Thanksgiving.

“Turkey cause that’s the main dish,” Farmington senior, Reagan Vance, said.

Every student has their own favorite Thanksgiving foods. It could be the first thing they think of when it comes to Thanksgiving, or it could be something completely different. What are some of the favorites?

“My mom’s homemade cranberry sauce, which is so good,” Sophomore, Julia Tholen, said.

Many students love Thanksgiving, but there could be some that prefer other holidays. They may not like the holiday itself, or they might just not like the food that’s eaten.

“I don’t really like Thanksgiving food, but if I had to choose one it would be the rolls because I don’t like anything else,” Vance said.

Thanksgiving Day is a holiday loved by many students–who doesn’t love the chance to eat more food on this one day than on any other day of the year? And there are so many foods to love! Turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, and pie are all common favorites amongst the students of Farmington High–though there are many different foods loved by each person, but everyone always has at least one favorite food. Hopefully everyone will get a chance this Thanksgiving to gorge themselves on the food they love.
