The Sully’s are back and ready to take up the biggest battle of their lives. The third Avatar movie in James Cameron’s Avatar series was released on December 19th, 2025, 3 years after the second Avatar movie came out – Avatar the Way of Water. In this extraordinary movie, we are once again back on the planet, Pandora, where the fight with humans is still going. With Colonel Miles Quaritch having an appearance in the avatar series once again. The Na’vi people and the Sully family meet new opponents that are introduced along the way. The Ash People and their clan leader, Varang.
This movie had many more twists, turns, and plot twists than the movies before. Avatar Fire and Ash shows that the after effects of the long lasting “War” between humans and the Na’vi people are not only the humans fighting against the Na’vi people, it’s the Na’vis turning on each other. Showing real hatred toward one another and giving us viewers a glimpse of the revolution of the Na’vi people.
Once united, the Sully’s come back to a unity split in half, when the Ash people (Mangkwan clan) are hunting their own. The leader of the Ash people, Varang, who is played by Oona Chaplin, is the second villain of the Avatar franchise. Beautiful and seductive, yet ruthless and stone hearted, wins the trust of the infamous Miles Quaritch and together they take on the battle to fight the Sully family.
Again, this movie is filled with many emotions that are included in every scene, every clip, and every little detail in the actor’s physical appearance and feelings. The movie has incredibly realistic features that are conducted perfectly into this art of a movie. Avatar Fire and Ash is about how everyone has their own enemy, their own fears, and each to their own flaws. The movie is beyond what I thought it was going to be. And for it to have such minimalistic, beautiful meanings embedded within the movie is so good, making it 100% more enjoyable to watch and keep up with the Avatar series.
I would definitely recommend this movie to anybody. It’s a movie about the strong bond we have with our family, friends, and even our own worst enemy. The final rate of the amazing movie is again, a 10/10. Go watch the new Avatar Fire and Ash for an experience you won’t forget soon!
