With the Harvest dance coming up at Farmington High School, people are excited to throw on costumes, have fun, and dance the night away. Not only that, but there’s a theme that makes the dance even more thrilling! This year’s theme for Harvest is fairytale, a great way to make the night magical and amusing.
But what do the students actually think about harvest this year? We asked two students from Farmington High School what their thoughts were.
“I actually love harvest. It’s super fun and it’s so creative too. I like that you get to wear a costume instead of just dressing up,” Junior Ava Thomas states.
For some students, Harvest is all about being creative with their costumes while others prefer to just have a great time at the dance and socialize.
“What I most like about harvest is that I get to be social and outgoing, especially making new friends,” Junior Liz Weeks says.
Harvest dances are to celebrate that the fall has come and the season is changing. It’s a festive event that High Schools normally hold during fall. It’s a time to have a ton of fun and good times with both friends, your harvest date, and ,of course, other students attending the dance. Harvest offers not only a lot of entertainment but also a mix of school spirit and seasonal fun!
