With harvest coming up, students are filled with excitement as they plan for the most magical dance of the year. The Farmington high school atmosphere is filled with its own fairytale magic. Students are plotting their fantastic costumes with their dates, and ideas are all around. The costume ideas are so creative and all over the place.
Junior, Jacie Neilson said,” I love the movie Tangled and had good ideas for the costume already.”
With the Fairytale theme, many people dress up as classic fairytale characters just like Jacie. But some are going with their more whimsical or humorous ideas to brighten the dance with their creativity.
Of course, no fairytale dance would be complete without the classics. Farmington high students always go the extra mile with their costumes. Even the classics have little details added to their costumes to show every student’s creativity. Some even add a little bit of sparkle or an extra prop that makes the costume even better.
Junior, Macie West said, “I’m most excited to wear a crown cause that’s just fun.”
Macie is also going as a princess, and she is adding the perfect, little touch to her costume. She is one of the many students taking time to add special details to their costume for the night.
With all the fairytale spirit spreading, this dance is going to create unforgettable memories. Planning has been going on for weeks now. Making everyone even more excited for this dance to come.
Junior, Hallie Peterson said, “I’m probably most excited for the mosh pit and seeing other people’s costumes.”
For many students, the energy for the night isn’t just from dressing up, but also from the people they are around. It’s clear that Hallie isn’t only looking forward to the costumes themselves. She is looking for excitement and laughter the night brings.
We can see that the students are ready for a night of magic, music, and creativity. With all the imagination in the air, one thing is certain. This Harvest dance is becoming a magical night that Farmington High Students will remember for a long time.
