Christmas is a great time of year with many fun activities. There’s many ways to find new activities to do wherever you are by simply searching up, “Fun Christmas activities near me”.

Spending time with family is a very popular thing to do for the holiday season. You could go look at lights all over Utah. You could go to a drive-through light show or one you can walk through. Another activity you can do with your family is going to the ice castles in Midway, Utah.

One of the most popular responses from students at Farmington High School was snowboarding or skiing. 

“My favorite Christmas activity would have to be snowboarding at the basin,” says sophomore Jake Jones.

Another fun activity is sledding or ice skating. You can go ice skating at the South Davis Recreation Center. Sledding you can do anywhere, you just need a hill, snow, and some sleds. Getting hot chocolate is also a fan favorite. 

Another holiday activity is shopping for presents. Some good places to go shopping are Bath and Body Works, Tilly’s, or PetSmart. All are found in Farmington, Utah’s,  Station Park.

“I like shopping for presents because it is so fun and it makes me feel so happy,” says sophomore Paige Gilbert.

Gift giving is also a great way to spend time this holiday season.

There are many fun things to do for the Christmas season in Utah. Christmas can be celebrated in many different ways. Embracing the cold and doing things you can’t do in the summer can be very fun.
