Winter break is just around the corner, and students at Farmington High School are already making plans for this chilly season. As the temperature drops, and the snow begins, the excitement for winter activities is up to the roof. Whether it is heading outdoors for activities filled with snow, or staying cozy indoors. Students have found plenty of ways to enjoy their time off.
“Sledding/playing in the snow with my siblings.” Junior Marybelle Olsen said.
Marybelle’s plans highlight classic winter fun with friends and family together. Sledding down hills, or building snowmen and snow forts are popular ways to enjoy the cold weather. Many students just like Marybelle can’t wait for the outdoor adventures awaiting them. These activities will leave lasting memories to make the season even more special.
“Baking cookies and reading.” Junior Adalynn Barton says.
Some prefer warm indoor activities rather than cold outdoor activities. Adalynn is a perfect example with her looking forward to a cozy, relaxing day. For those who prefer to stay warm like Adalynn, baking and reading are great ideas to enjoy the cold weather but stay warm inside in the comfort of your home.
“Drinking hot chocolate because its good vibes.” Junior Emma Newman.
Emma seems to also prefer staying warm and cozy during this cold season. She enjoys the classic tradition of sipping hot chocolate on a cold winter day. Her favorite winter activity proves that a simple warm drink can make any winter day magical.
No matter how students at Farmington High decide to spend their winter break, this season is full of fun, and exciting opportunities to fill their time. Whether it’s indoor or outdoor activities these students are filled with excitement as the break gets closer. As the weather gets colder, this promising break will be filled with laughter and adventure.
