
McDonald’s is a restaurant students interact with regularly due to it’s cheap prices and close proximity to the school. Students tend to go there for lunch, in between classes, or at night for a quick, cheap treat.
“Me and my friends go there at least twice a week because of how cheap and good it is. We usually go after playing sports or at the end of the night after hanging out”, said junior Cael Mckeon.
McDonald’s is one of the largest and most popular fast-food chains in the world. It first started in 1940 when it was founded by Richard and Maurice McDonald in California. Later on, Ray Kroc joined the company and expanded it globally.
Due to McDonald’s cheap prices, it attracts teenagers and customers trying not to spend a lot of money on food. The quick preparation of food appeals to students that don’t have a lot of time for lunch.
“Since lunch is only 40 minutes and it takes time to drive I usually like going to McDonald’s because I can order my food and get out pretty quickly. This way I get lunch and make it back for school on time”, said senior Avery Vance.
Overtime, McDonald’s branding has changed to stay up to date with modern styles. The logo has been simplified as well as restaurants being remodeled. This attracts teenagers to come in the lobby and hangout with their friends.
“Sometimes when me and friends don’t have anything else better to do we just go to McDonald’s, get food and just hangout and talk in the booths there”, said junior Cache Muirbrook.
Students not only love the food and prices, but the environment that McDonald’s has. It has become a social place where students see and talk to their friends and classmates. Overall, most students love McDonald’s and prefer it over the more expensive options.
